RETROSPECTIVA  RETROSPECTIVE

Aunque la temática del paisaje vallartense ha ocupado mi atención constante, por ser la que mas disfruto y la que tiene mas demanda, tampoco he descuidado abordar otros temas de los que hago una exposición anual regularmente, aquí algunos ejemplos rescatados en los últimos años.

Pintor fotógrafo y articulista originario del D.F. cuya presencia en el arte vallartense se remonta a 1974 a través de su obra pictórica, el autor exalta las virtudes naturales de Vallarta y de su gente mediante escenas idílicas que relatan pasajes cautivantes del paraíso. En este sentido , el resultado de su buen oficio contiene un cariz de homenaje y gratitud a la ciudad en que ha vivido durante una gran parte de su vida y en donde ha desarrollado una intensa labor creativa Homenaje que, con la intervención de la fantasía, se manifiesta en la serie "Vincent en Vallarta" mediante un logrado estilo impresionista que se vuelve con fortuna al surrealismo y nos presenta imágenes como el de "La familia Octopus en su diario paseo por el malecón en una noche siniestra pero fresca" o la del "Jazz Fest" Óleos y técnicas mixtas abordados con una variada paleta en tonos radiantes y frescos, en donde paisaje y horizonte abierto son sinónimos de la relevante cualidad espacial de profundidad, común elemento compositivo, constante y perceptible a través del conjunto de su obra. Estudió pintura en la academia de "San Carlos" (1965 )en el "Art Institute Ligue", de New York (1984) entre muchos otros. Obra de su autoría ha sido objeto de exhibiciones en Fort Worth (1978) y Mac Allen(1991) en Texas y San francisco (1989) entre muchos otros a lo largo de mas de 3 décadas de labor creativa. WITH AN ARTIST CURRICULUM THAT GOES BACK MOST OF  40 YEARS OF PICTORAL TRAJECTORY, ROBERTO BERMEJO, CAPTURES THE PORT OF YESTERDAY AND GIVES US COMMON SITUATIONS OF TODAY´S VALLARTA THROUGH HIS COLOR STROKES ENBLAZONED ON BEAUTIFUL CANVASES.
Painter, photographer journalist and narrator, Roberto Bermejo, through his pictorial works exalts the nature virtues of Vallarta and its people by means of idyllic scenes that they related, with assertive singing of the brush, captivating passages of the . In this sense paradise, the result of his productions contains a sort of tribute to the city in which he has lived during most of his life and in where has developed an extensive creative work. Tribute which with the intervention of the fantasy its duplicated in the series Vincent in Vallarta in were Van Gogh -another convinced lover of the color fulfilled of light- takes a breath in a park of the port, has a coffee in Olas altas, transits the town streets on board of an urban bus or ignites with wind light the nocturnal sky of the bay. An achieved impressionistic style that, under the influence of a power full imagination, becomes with fortune to the surrealism and display images to us like the one of “Octopus Family On Their Daily Nocturnal Stroll During One Night, Sinister But Fresh” or those of “Jazz Fest” with the piano, sax, clarinet. Drums and reclined harmoniously on the waves of the sea. Oils and mixed techniques, manages with one varied palette in radiant and fresh tones, in were landscape and open horizon are synonymous of the excellent space quality of deep, as a constant and perceivable compositive element though the set of the whole work  of the author.
Roberto  Bermejo studied painting in academia De San Carlos (1965) and in the Art Institute League in New York 1984, all kind of medias in “Institute Allende” and Bellas Artes “ El Nigrománte” in San Miguel Allende Gto. From 1981 till now has given art courses and workshops of artistic specialization also in Mexican states as Guanajuato, Durango, Zacatecas, as well as in this city, in collaboration with different institutions , such as. The City Hall, Colegio Real  Montessori and centro para las artes in “Terra Noble”. Works of him has been exhibit in San Francisco Ca. (1989) in  Fort Worth (1978) Mc Allen, Texas Pasadena Ca (2006) and most of galleries in Puerto Vallarta, as well his studio were still working.
